This is a 10* ASSASSIN on the OVER Lakers/Nuggets.
I had a play on the Lakers in Game 1 and the UNDER in Game 2, but for Game 3 I'm going to play the OVER.
Game 1 went OVER the number and I think Game 3 will follow suit.
True, the Nuggets have "seemed" to play better when they're in a hole, but after two straight series in which they've had to dig their way out, clearly they're going to do everything they can to avoid the dreaded 0-3 hole. In the other two series, the Nuggets were down 3-1, before then going on to win three straight in each to advance.
But an 0-3 hole will just be too much. Clearly the Lakers can smell the blood in the water, but I think they're going to have their hands full with this feisty Nuggets team.
Denver had a chance to win Game 2, so they'll be coming in confident and with nothing to lose, I think this one sets up as more of a "track meet," rather than a "chess match."
Finally note that the Nuggets have seen the total go OVER the number in eight of its last 12 after scoring 105 points or less in a loss in their previous outing.
This one has OVER written all over it!
