I'm getting on the Reds "train" here after six straight wins. Cincinnati is now back to .500 and it still has a shot at the playoffs.
The White Sox have a 3.5 games lead for the division crown over the Twins and they've already clinched a spot in the playoffs.
Cease and Lorenzon are a "wash," here, but note that the Reds are a perfect 6-0 in their last six vs. right-handed starters and 5-0 their last five at home. Chicago has struggled in Cease's recent road starts as well, going just 1-2 in his last three away from friendly confines.
In fact Cease's ERA balloons to 4.65 on the road, compared to just 1.57 at home.
Look for the "hungrier" home side to keep the foot on the gas!
