NBA - The Nuggets lost on a last-second shot in Game 2 on Sunday but the fact they rallied back and had a great shot at the outright win indicates what is likely to come in this series. Denver fell just short in Game 4 of their series against the Jazz (2 point defeat) and then won 3 straight games thanks in part to a defense allowing only 97.3 points per game. That is not to say that the Nuggets will win this one outright. It is just to say that the Nuggets will be focused on the defensive end as they look to battle back in this series. When off a 6 point loss to the Clippers in Game 3 of that series allowed just 98 points per game the rest of the way in that series. A tight loss has a way of refocusing this group and the Lakers may not find the buckets coming so easy in this one. But, at the same time, one has to respect an LA defense that has helped lead the way to 6 straight wins while allowing just 104 points per game. The simulation report is forecasting the Nuggets to be in this one all the way and to be their defense that keys that so play UNDER (Nuggets/Lakers)
