NFL - The Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl Champions plus coming off an impressive Thursday night win plus coming off a season in which they went 6-0 SU and ATS in divisional play. The Chargers are off a tight win at Cincinnati last week but LA was 0-6 SU and ATS in divisional play last season. It is a new season. That doesn't mean that Los Angeles wins this game outright. However, what it does mean is a Chargers team well aware of the fact that they must improve their play in divisional games this season. Now installed as a very big home dog (with the line growing bigger as the week went on), LA is the play here per the simulation report. The Chargers defense ranked 4th in NFL for points allowed last season and can challenge the Chiefs here. Most simulations show LA still losing this game but only by a single score and a possible upset is not out of the question.
