Houston at Seattle 9:10 ET
Mariners over Astros- Seattle who, believe it or not was in the thick of it all before the played five 'home' games in San Francisco because of the wildfires and went 1-4. They are now the ninth seed in an 8-team race and are 5-games behind Houston for the final playoff spot. Houston meanwhile clinched their playoff spot this weekend and are just waiting for the return of Altuve and others. While just 7-18 on the road the Astros are an amazing 24-2 against the Mariners the past 26 meetings and will start Lance McCullers Jr. (3-2, 4.87 ERA) who is 7-2 with a 2.95 ERA in 13 career starts against Seattle. The Mariners will send their best in Marco Gonzalez (6-2, 3.49) who lost Opening Day to the 'Stros but is 6-1 since gets his chance to beat them for the first time (0-5). Houston is terrible on the road and locked-in, while the Mariners are coming to play. Take SEATTLE!
